Vyrlo runs on your own accounts — you bring the keys, we never mark up costs or see your credentials in the clear. Here's exactly where to find each one and how to plug it in. Prefer a walkthrough? The setup wizard does this with you, step by step.
AI provider keys
These power the pipeline. Add them in Settings → API Keys. Each goes straight to the provider — Vyrlo never proxies the call.
Anthropic (Claude)
scripts- 1Sign in at console.anthropic.com and open Settings → API Keys.
- 2Click Create Key, name it “Vyrlo”, and copy the sk-ant-… value (shown once).
- 3Add a payment method under Plans & Billing — a few dollars covers many scripts.
- 4Paste it into Vyrlo → Settings → API Keys → Claude.
OpenAI (images)
thumbnails & images- 1Sign in at platform.openai.com → API keys → Create new secret key.
- 2Copy the sk-… value and add billing credit under Settings → Billing.
- 3Paste it into Vyrlo → Settings → API Keys → OpenAI.
ElevenLabs (voice)
voiceover- 1Sign in at elevenlabs.io → Profile → API Keys.
- 2Create a key and copy it.
- 3Paste it into Vyrlo → Settings → API Keys → ElevenLabs.
Kling AI (video)
video clips- 1Sign in at klingai.com → Settings → API Management.
- 2Create an Access Key — copy both the Access Key ID and the Secret Key.
- 3Paste both into Vyrlo → Settings → API Keys → Kling AI.
RunwayML (video)
video clips- 1Go to dev.runwayml.com and sign in (or create a developer account).
- 2Open API Keys → create a key (starts with key_…) and copy it.
- 3Add credits to your RunwayML account so generations can run.
- 4Paste the key into Vyrlo → Settings → API Keys → RunwayML.
RunwayML is an alternative AI video engine to Kling — you only need one. Vyrlo uses whichever key you provide.
RunwayML API ↗Google Gemini (Nano Banana — AI images)
AI-generated visuals- 1Go to aistudio.google.com/app/apikey and sign in with your Google account.
- 2Click Create API key, then copy the key (starts with AIza…).
- 3Turn on billing for the key’s Google Cloud project — image generation needs a billed project (the free tier can’t generate images).
- 4Paste the key into Vyrlo → Settings → API Keys → Gemini.
Gemini powers AI-generated images (Nano Banana). It’s optional — pick “Real photos” for your visuals and you don’t need it.
Google AI Studio ↗Connect YouTube
LiveWhere your finished long-form videos publish automatically. This is a one-click OAuth connection — no developer setup needed.
Connect your channel
~1 minute- 1Go to Settings → Channel and click “Connect YouTube”.
- 2Sign in with the Google account that owns your channel and approve access.
- 3You’re connected — Vyrlo can now upload on your behalf. Set it as default if you have more than one.
How your credentials are protected
- Every key and OAuth token is encrypted at rest in Supabase Vault — never stored in plain text.
- Your browser never receives a stored key back; we only ever show that one exists.
- Vyrlo never proxies your AI calls or resells your data. Keys are used only to run your jobs.
- Row-level security means your connections are visible only to you.
Connect social platforms
Vyrlo posts your vertical Short to TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. To set each one up, go to Settings → Connections, click Connect, and authorize your account.
TikTok
one-click connectWe deliver to your TikTok drafts on purpose, so you can add your own trending sound before posting. To connect a second TikTok account, use a private/incognito window (or log out of TikTok first) — TikTok reuses whichever account you’re signed into.
Instagram & Facebook
one-click connectInstagram and Facebook share a single connection through Facebook login. If Instagram doesn’t appear after connecting, your IG account isn’t linked to a Facebook Page yet.
